The lighting selection carefully and discreetly accentuates the AMP Building’s historic fabric along Collins and Market Streets.

The approach enhances the architecture rather than overpowering it. Drawing attention to the richness of the sandstone façade, the rhythm of the columns, and the building’s finely crafted detailing.

The restoration successfully reasserts the AMP Building’s original architectural character while sensitively adapting this iconic Melbourne landmark for contemporary use. Achieving this level of refinement required an exceptional degree of detail, including intricately custom-fabricated, colour-matched mounting brackets, carefully finished and coated to complement the façade tones. This ensured the luminaires integrate seamlessly with the architecture, maintaining visual restraint and minimising any sense of intrusion.

These bespoke elements were designed and fabricated by , Lux FX whose contribution was instrumental in delivering a solution that respects both the heritage fabric and the contemporary lighting intent.
